Books, especially children’s books, can be some of the hardest items to let go of because they’re filled with opportunities for our kids to learn and grow. We all know that reading is essential for development, and it can be challenging to decide which books to keep and which to donate.
Involve your kids in the process! Let them help choose which books to keep and which ones to donate. And remember, donating doesn’t mean you’ll never see the book again—your local library likely has a copy! Donating books gives them a second life and provides an opportunity to share a love for learning and reading with children who need it most.
